Fulbright Fellow (Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia)
English Teaching Assistant (August 2017- June 2018)
● Create and implement lesson plans to instruct pre-intermediate and upper-intermediate English classes in speaking and listening for Mongolian students at the
University of Life Sciences in Ulaanbaatar.
● Assist Mongolian co-teacher with 16 teaching hours
● Completed one month, in-country orientation centering on English teaching training and Mongolian language       and culture
● Participated in one week Fulbright Orientation in Washington, DC prior to placement

Open Arms Home for Children (Komga, South Africa)
Full-Time Volunteer (August 2016- June 2017)
● Resided with and aided in the rearing of 54 at-risk children from the age of 3 months to 18 years in order to maximize welfare
● Provided educational support in Mathematics and English to ensure academic success in primary and high school
● Monitored health care needs and coordinated the administration of medication to ensure proper care-taking

Student Worker/Study Abroad Peer Advisor (August 2014 – May 2015)
● Created multi-media projects to promote events, study abroad courses, and other activities sponsored by CWIL
● Authored, provided, and presented informational packets to be used by prospective study abroad students and future study abroad advisors
● Designed and published a photographic guide to student living in Durban, South Africa
● Coordinated and organized 23 student study abroad peer advisors for improving the experiences of study abroad students

Global Women’s Leadership Student Program Coordinator (May 2015 – July 2015)
● Assisted in coordinating the logistics of 20 women from the Middle East and North Africa for a five-week State Department funded Global Women’s Leadership Institute
● Assisted with the preparation for the SUSI Global Women’s Leadership Conference at the U.S. State Department in Washington D.C.
● Served as a resident advisor to program participants by being responsive in emergency situations, upholding SUSI guidelines and serving as a host and ambassador of the United States

● Competed in a three-week entrepreneurial competition with an international team of eight members from countries that varied in size and economic status

SheCab Fundraising Initiative, Saint Mary’s College (Notre Dame, IN)
SUSI Student Participant Representative (March 2015 – May 2016)
● Accompanied Saint Mary’s College faculty to Amman, Jordan for one week
● Designed, organized and implemented a fundraiser to support and promote SheCab – a female taxi company startup which will provide safe transportation for women in Jordan
● Presented SheCab at the 2015 SUSI Global Women’s Leadership Conference at the U.S. State Department to promote intercultural exchanges through the Study of the U.S. Institute

Food Recovery Network, Saint Mary’s College (Notre Dame, IN)
Project Commissioner/Student Assistant (August 2014 – May 2016)
● Recruited and coordinated volunteers to delegate and implement the duties of the Food Recovery Program
● Delivered extra food to local homeless shelter to eliminate food waste on Saint Mary’s campus
● Inventoried over 5,300 pounds of excess food from the campus dining hall for accurate record keeping of food recovered
